Vic: Woman critical after petrol fire
MELBOURNE, Aug 3 AAP - A 21-year-old woman is in a critical condition after sufferingburns to 90 per cent of her body from a petrol fire at a Melbourne service station thisafternoon.
Police said petrol she was handling ignited shortly before four o'clock this afternoonat Somerville, on the Mornington Peninsula.
A service station employee ran to help her, and managed to extinguish the fire beforeemergency services arrived at the scene.
The woman was flown to the Alfred Hospital burns unit.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
